ELPD Issues Alert for Missing Teenager (UPDATED: Teen Located)

UPDATE, Dec. 29: The missing teen “has been located and returned safely home” according to a bulletin from ELPD sent at 4:32 a.m.

The East Lansing Police Department on Sunday night issued an alert stating that 13-year-old Anna Vinya was missing and had possibly run away.

Vinya was last seen in the area of North Harrison Road and Blanchette Drive — near Harrison Meadows Park. Vinya is 5-feet, 10-inches tall and weighs around 100 pounds, with braided black hair and brown eyes, according to the alert.

The alert also said Vinya was wearing a blue dress when she left on foot from her residence.
